Summer Lakes Community
Trash, recycling, green waste and bulky waste in Summer Lakes is collected by GFL Environmental under the City of Rosenberg's residential solid-waste service.
Summer Lakes sits inside the City's collection area, so the schedule here is the City's and not Fort Bend County MUD No. 144's. The district handles water and sewer; the association handles deed restrictions. Missed collections and cart problems go to GFL.

Have carts and materials at the curb by 7:00 a.m. The City assigns collection days by address and can redraw routes, so confirm yours if anything here looks different from what your street actually gets.
The City's service uses a 96-gallon automated cart for trash and a 96-gallon cart for recycling.
Collected every Wednesday, whatever your trash days are. Every address in the city recycles on Wednesday.
This page does not publish an accepted-materials list, because the City and GFL maintain the current one. Review the City's complete trash information if you are not sure about an item.
Collected Tuesday, the first of your two trash days.
Green waste cannot go in with household trash. Mixed loads are not collected.
Also collected Tuesday, the first of your two trash days. This is for items too large or heavy for the cart.
Two things it is not for: overflow household rubbish that would not fit in the cart, and construction material. Neither is collected as bulky waste.
None of these go in your carts or your bulky waste. They go to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center, 1200 Blume Road, Rosenberg. Check your options and confirm what they accept, any fees, proof-of-residency rules and opening hours before you drive out.
The City does not publish a holiday collection schedule on its trash page, so this page will not invent one. Check with GFL or the City before a holiday week rather than assuming the truck is coming.
